Where I’m From:
I was born in Phoenix, AZ, while my parents were going to college at Arizona State University. Shortly after, my parents returned to North Dakota, and I grew up in Mandan.
My Education and Insurance Experience:
I went to college at UND, starting as a music major, but transferred to the business department and eventually completed my degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and Management. I also have my CIC and AFIS designations.
I started at Concorde in 1984 as a personal lines underwriter (almost entirely writing Mobile Homes), moved on to underwriting Commercial Excess & Surplus Lines business, then moved to our fledgling Standard Lines program with Houston General. Shortly thereafter I became a partner in the business and in 1998 was named President - the role that I continue to hold today.
My Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Boating, Travel, Woodworking, Numismatics, Gardening, Photography, and of course children and my grandchild, ALICE! I have a great interest in supporting Rotary and Scouting, both of which I have been quite active in for many years.
